Competitive Advantage Versus Differential Advantage

How Marketing Management of a competitive firm accomplishes a long-term competitive advantage?
Does the concept of Differential Advantage reflect on Marketing creativity and brand substantiation?

The answers to these two generic Marketing questions can be facilitated by defining the two terms:

Competitive Advantage is an advantage over competitors gained by offering consumers greater value, either through lower prices or by providing more benefits that justify higher prices.

Differential Advantage means a Competitive Advantage that customers perceive as creating superior value with respect to competition.

Conceptually, the essence of Marketing Management is to build and sustain Differential Advantage through advanced Brand Management, close customer relationships and upgraded service quality standards.

And what do you think is the practice in Greece? Let's say in the area of fast consuming goods.

Totally generic. Effective marketing practices require lots of systematic and organized marketing effort. However, I have got only positive comments for the work of NEOSET. It is hard to compete even in a local environment with an international giant.

You mean positive comments about the marketing work according the TV advertising, because the customer approach is something more than worst, not only for a specific store because the sales manager is absent but also there is a worst customer approach from the general central department of Neoset. You could visit the store in Omonoia or Nikaia and then you anyone could understand what I mean....

Well, in case this is your impression I would not doubt it for anything.
However, as I have mentioned in other posts Marketing strategy implementation is a hard issue to accomplish and maintains lots of challenges for Sales-reps. More to follow soon...
